Ed Newton

Ed is a fellow evangelist based in Memphis Tn.  His passion for curbing bible illiteracy in this generation of teenagers is second to none.  With with his wordsmith ways, Ed teaches the truths of the bible like none other. The best part? He’s no rock-star. He taught me that some of the best sermons ever preached aren’t done so from stage but are found on the rec field or at the dinner table with your students.  The same message he preaches from stage is the same one that he lives at home.  Proud to consider him a colleague and mentor, he gets it.

The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place is a community-based ministry that has served the youth of Brunswick and the Golden Isles of Georgia since 1981, uniting churches, para-church ministries, schools and other community groups. Their desire is to allow God to use them to rise up strong Christian leaders who will have an impact on their communities and the world. They too get it.
